La Campana Bar in Torremolinos was created in 1957 by businessman Narciso Pérez Teseira, a friends bar where you can taste wines and share experiences.

In 1968 Pepe, current bar manager, joined as a waiter.

During the 1970s and 1971, they broke down the premises to do and the bar moved to Calle La Cruz; During these years there is a great boom in the town of Torremolinos, generated by the increase in tourism, which generates great popularity to the town and increases the importance of the bar due to its central location.

During these years there were 23 open taverns, of which there are now only four left: one in Torremolinos, two in Malaga: in Germany street and Granada street, and another in Torre del Mar.

The bonanza of this bar lasted until 1994, and it will be in 1998 when Pepe and his partner Paco take over the management of the bar, not without going through many uncertainties and headaches, since the approval of the Treasury delayed said acquisition, since put different difficulties and obstacles before the transfer of the bar.

Before the 1998 reform the bar has another structure, the bar was closed and the seafood was in the center, and instead of tables there was a counter, where you could support glasses and plates. Also, the bar and seafood were differentiated and therefore served and paid separately.

The refrigerator has been running since the store opened, it is made of wood and the brand is Braun.

Before drinking Victoria beer in a bottle of 66 cl. And people shared it by serving themselves in glasses that were shaped like a bell.

The usual temperature of the Cruzcampo barrel is – 1 ºC, the hottest it has ever been is at a temperature of 0.3 ºC and this happened because it was damaged.
